Pet Age Test for Dogs and Cats

The most accurate way to estimate age in dogs and cats! Use science to discover your pet's age with this easy and accurate mouth swab test. Each age estimate comes with health insights specific to your pet's life stage (health markers are NOT measured in this test). 

Each kit comes with everything you need to collect a DNA sample from your furry friend and send it to the lab for analysis.

How we do it:

We measure DNA methylation at certain areas of the genome to estimate your pet's age. This molecule that attaches to the outside of the DNA sequence is the gold standard for chronological age estimation. Age estimation accuracy is within 12 months of actual age for most samples, with 75% of validation samples coming with 5 months of actual age. Therefore, we recommend the test for pets with age uncertainties over 1 year. 

*Not recommended for puppies and kittens (<1 year).
